Barcelona on to Tulon

Great time in Barcelona. What did  I like about Barcelona ?  the cured ham , the olive oil. Tapas . We had a wonderful simple, meal away from La Romba. Cured meat and a fresh roll, and a beer. All for 12€.
The ship was all I expected and enjoyed sitting on our  balcony on Regal Princess.  Embarkation went well very well organized.  The first day, drink by the pool off to dinner and early night. Took a couple of days to find our way around.  It was great to wake  and watch as we sailed into  Tulon. Obviously a naval port with a number of warships at dock in fact it is the headquarters of the French Mediterranean Fleet. Spent the morning looking around the little village of la Seyne-Sur-Mer. The market was amazing.  Wonderful fresh veggies. Glorious black tomatoes fresh plump figs and rows and rows of olives.  Lov the med. Could have spent all day watch the old people getting their vegies, fromage and meat and having a gossip. If only I took french at school!  On to Piza and Florence.
