Piza and Florence

The leaning tower in the field of memories was a higlight, still plenty of sunshine and people.
Did the obligatory "holding up the tower photo" a very nice asian man took the photo. There always seem to be someone to take the couples photos and then you do the same for them.
We then travelled through the beautiful  Tuscan countryside up to Florence or as the Italians say Firenze . It way great to see all the casas on the hillsides. I would love to come back. Florence was amazing,  narrow streets open piazzas and people, people, people. Very hot and drank plenty of water. You can buy bottled water anywhere for 1€. The Florentines are very friendly.  We had a great lunch just off  the Santa Croce Square , we had typical Tuscan fare of  pizza margherita, prosciutto and melon and a Caprese salad of tomato, motserella cheese basil and olive oil.  All fresh and full of flavor washed down with a cold beer.
From Glenda , Must always be aware of gypsies and pick pockets  and not to trust anyone. Lots of  history, very old. Lots of statues. David finally saw the statue of David. An amazing place. On to Roma.
